Michael Kirschner is the President and Founder of American Medical Consultants. He prides himself on his personal approach to his work. Prior to forming his own firm, he was a partner at a private healthcare consulting and recruiting firm in Miami, Florida. His work has been featured in The Journal of the American Medical Association, Hematology Oncology News & Issues, Health Plan, Unique Opportunities, Healthcare Executive, Hospital & Health Service Administration, and The Navy Times.
Michael earned a Bachelor's degree in Business with a concentration in Human Resources Management with Honors from Northeastern University. He also earned a Master's degree in Health Care Administration from The George Washington University, where he prepared a thesis on "The Motivation for Urban and Suburban Hospitals Merging in Michigan". He is a retired Navy Commander in the Medical Service Corps. In addition, Mr. Kirschner conducts presentations to fellowship and residency programs throughout the nation to provide education on practice management. He is a member of The American College of Healthcare Executives, Florida Hospital Association, South Florida Healthcare Executive Forum, and the Association of Military Surgeons of the United States.
